Best in class science that puts you in control
How it works
We ensure the best quality testing by working with labs that meet the following standards
1
CLIA-certified labs
Certified under the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments of 1988 (CLIA) regulations
2
Clinically-validated tests
Clinically-validated tests as compared with traditional sample collection methods
3
Experienced clinical team
Experienced, diverse clinical team that oversees every step of the testing process
Lab Certification
Certified Clinical Laboratories
Each laboratory used to process your sample is CLIA-certified, which means they must meet or exceed federal precision, accuracy, and validity standards. They also obtain state licensure and submit themselves to regular inspections as well as independent third-party performance verifications.
Everlywell works with an independent network of board-certified physicians to support your full testing experience. A physician will review your lab requisition, which is required for testing, and approve eligible orders. The same physician will also review your final test results when completed by the lab. For diagnostic tests such as our STI tests, a physician consultation and prescription (when indicated) is offered for positive results.
…with results everyone can understand
Our tests provide personalized information and education that empowers you to be more involved with and educated about your own health. We offer a “doctor friendly” version that you can print or email for sharing with your physician, in a format they are used to seeing when normally reviewing lab results. We always encourage you to share your results with your physician with any questions you have regarding your medical care.
Our at-home sample collection methods have been clinically validated against traditional methods to meet rigorous standards for test accuracy and reliability. Dried blood spot testing and many other collection methods we offer, like saliva and urine, have been trusted sample collection methods for over 30 years. We offer established collection methods, carefully and optimally designed so that quality lab testing can happen from home.
Everlywell is dedicated to informing and enriching the medical and scientific community through clinical research. Everlywell’s clinical studies focus on building the scientific evidence and clinical utility of consumer-initiated lab testing to help engage customers in their healthcare journey. Our research programs are guided by the latest approaches to testing to inform the areas of COVID-19 and infectious diseases, heart health, sexual health, men’s and women’s health, and nutrition. We incorporate clinical and data science best practices to understand complex, real-world data.
